'Big Brother' Houseguest Was Smoked Out
Jen Johnson Rants About Evel Dick, the Dangers of Smoking, Sequester and Slop
|
Aug. 27 -- Some contestants go out of the 'Big Brother 8' house with a whimper and a few tears and a lot of hugs, and others go out with a bang like Jen Johnson did last Thursday night. She told the voting houseguests she was glad to be leaving and she got few hugs on her way to the door. She stirred up a heap of trouble earlier in the week by breaking her food restriction rules, trashing Evel Dick's cigarettes and instigating a physical fight with the smoker that left her burned -- literally.
AOL TV's Angel Cohn caught up with the unpredictable Jen before she headed off for jury duty. Because of sequester restrictions we were unable to discuss America's Player or any conversation Jen was not involved in, but still the saucy nanny still had plenty to sound off on, including Evel Dick, eating slop and what prompted her Jensa Member T-shirts.
After you were evicted you got to dunk the losing players in the HOH competition. Was that kind of a nice revenge?
That was fun. I'm glad 'Big Brother' decided that on my week, randomly, that I got to be the one to splash everyone in the water. It was cool to still be a part of the game, even though I wasn't.
And you got to see who won HOH.
Yeah, that was cool. Thank god it wasn't Dick.
What prompted you to destroy his cigarettes?
I had wanted to destroy cigarettes before even moving into the house of anyone who happened to smoke. I had destroyed a couple of packs of cigarettes previously but he had them all hidden. When I found his secret hiding spot, I decided that was the time.
You packed up all your clothing in advance. Did you know he'd retaliate?
Last time it was backwards he threw all my clothes everywhere and I smashed his cigarettes. I thought it was probably going to happen again.

Did your hand really get injured?
Nah. It is just like a fake burn, it is fine.
That was a nasty fight the two of you had.
I don't like that. I feel like for the rest of the time I was more me and more happy and then I had to end on such a [bad] note. My last episode is all negative and not me and it just sucks.
You kept saying at the beginning that this was just a game and it wasn't personal. At some point did you let it get personal?
It is a game, but it is personal, how you treat people is how you treat people, it is not different.
It is hard to get a read on you, you'll seem really upset and then two minutes later you'll seem fine and happy.
I'm not really sure how I'm portrayed, but on the show, and in real life, I'm definitely upbeat and nothing brings me down for anything.
Not even getting iced tea dumped on your head by Dick?
Yeah. I felt bad for him because he had to be shown acting like a two year old on national television.
Were you really upset about your picture on the memory wall?
Yup! It was really bad. The most I cried on the show out of 55 days was [after] seeing that horrible, horrible picture. If you go online, you can find better pictures of me.
Do you think getting that upset over such a small thing got you off on the wrong foot with the other houseguests?
My houseguests got upset with me about a lot of things. As many people have stated, I grow on you. Once you know me, I'm easier to understand.
