I know a lot of former 'Real World' cast members toured the college lecture circuit.
Yeah, sometimes I'll do some motivational speaking. Five years ago, when I first got off 'The Real World: Las Vegas,' that was something I was really into. But after that, I was like, "OK. I have a good nest egg of money. Let's graduate." So I did. A lot of people do continue with college circuit speaking engagements or they do bar tours. Actually, the bar tours started with 'Real World: Las Vegas.' The colleges decided, "We don't want these crazy kids coming on our campus. They have nothing to say."

Yeah, I can imagine.
So me, Irulan and Brynn -- we reached out to some people and started these bar gigs and other cast members have gotten on and ever since it's been going strong.

You had a run-in with the law at one of those bar gigs, right? Though I'm sure it wasn't a laughing matter at the time, I thought the idea of smiling for your mug shot photo was fantastic.
Yeah, well upsets do happen in life. I thought that I would never, ever, ever be arrested.

'American Idol' Finals

Me either. It's such a contradiction to your "good guy" image.
I wouldn't say that. I don't think I have a "good guy image." I just think I'm a human being experiencing life; I just try to have a positive spin on that experience. And so I could only smile [in the mug shot]. It was my first time in North Carolina, it was our first grouping of bar gigs.

So what happened?
The town in North Carolina we were in wasn't used to having reality kids. Now they are, but I was put in a position where I had to protect myself. I got punched and then was surrounded by two big guys. And those guys just happened to work at the bar. It was one of those situations where I wasn't a friend and ended up getting the shaft. But it all worked out, and I got the charges dropped. I know I'd never get arrested again. But I was 22 years old, and learning how to take a punch comes with maturity.

Is it true MTV is going to reunite the Las Vegas cast for a six-episode reunion series?
I don't know. If it was true, I'm not sure if that would be something I could say at this point. [Editor's Note: After this interview, MTV confirmed the rumors about the planned reunion series.]

Do you still watch 'The Real World'?
To tell you the truth, I never really watched it before I was on the show. I think that's one of the reasons why they cast me. I don't really watch television to be honest. I watched the Vegas season because I was with Irulan and whenever I messed up or whenever they showed me with another girl, she would always be like "What is this? What's going on?!"

Are you two still together?
We aren't together anymore. We're great friends.

You dominate in all of your 'Inferno' challenges, and part of it is because you are in such great shape. What is your fitness regimen like?
Working out for me is spiritual. It's a lifestyle. I've never gone to a gym and tried to bench press or squat. I do a lot of calisthenics, I surf, I rock climb, and roller blade. I do the traveling rings out in Santa Monica -- which is like big gymnastics rings. That's what keeps me in shape and keeps me formidable in these challenges. I wouldn't say I dominate, but I'm definitely a good competitor.

Is that the key to winning the challenges?
Yeah, I would say that integrity definitely plays a huge part because you're not alone. Even if you're a good player, if no one wanted to stand two feet next to you, it is going to potentially disqualify somebody and then you lose. Just being a team player allows everyone else to bring their A-game.

Where would you be if you had never been on the show?
I'd probably be in veterinary school and on my way to being a veterinarian. 'The Real World' has allowed me to stay in the veterinary world while opening my eyes to other opportunities.
