Our Mission
Fighting cancer starts here
Every sixty seconds another American dies of cancer. Stand Up To Cancer is more than a televised fundraiser on Sept. 5 -- it's a mass movement to attack cancer once and for all by pushing promising scientific breakthroughs to the finish.
AOL Television and StandUp2Cancer.org offer content featuring many of the country's most prominent celebrities, artists and scientists, as well as first-hand testimonials from cancer survivors. Celebrities who appeared on the Sept. 5 telethon included Josh Brolin, Charles Barkley and Scarlett Johansson. Actors Christina Applegate and Patrick Swayze -- both of whom recently underwent major surgery and treatment for cancer -- also attended. Join them and the SU2C team in a nationwide initiative to fund several top-tier scientists and research groups to finally conquer the devastation that is cancer.Ingrid Michaelson 'Be OK' Tour
