A brilliant blend of the reality and sitcom genres, "The Osbournes" follows the day-to-day lives of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, his manager wife Sharon and two of their children -- the volatile Jack and pink-tressed Kelly. The idea for the show originally came from what a hit the family was when MTV profiled them on another series, "Cribs." "The Osbournes" quickly became MTV's highest-rating show ever, which in turn led to the network wanting more access to the family for a second season. This, of course, meant more money and some tricky negotiations.
