Description
Morticia (Carolyn Jones) and Gomez (John Astin) Addams were a perplexingly macabre family with a giant named Lurch (Ted Cassidy) for a doorman and a disembodied hand named Thing running about. The Addams had two children, Pugsley (Ken Weatherwax) and Wednesday (Lisa Loring), neither of whom was quite right. Based on the cartoons by Chales Addams, the series was always in direct competition with CBS' similarly themed "The Munsters."
