Description
NCIS stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service. The series chronicles the operations of an elite team of special agents whose mission is to investigate any crime that has a shred of evidence connected to Navy and Marine Corps personnel, regardless of rank or position. The characters for "NCIS" were introduced on a two-part episode of "JAG," but the series has its own personality and has attracted a different demo, combining wit and humor with the investigative drama. Donald P. Bellisario ("JAG," "Magnum, P.I.") is the executive producer.
