Last Comic Standing 4 Cast & Crew

Description

The fourth season of "Last Comic Standing" featured former "Yes, Dear" star (and stand-up comic) Anthony Clark as host. As with previous seasons, talent executives Ross Mark and Bob Read traveled the country looking for the funniest comedians. In the semi-final round, those chosen were "judged" by comedians Kathy Griffin and Tim Meadows, as well as funny-man director Garry Marshall. Ultimately, a surprise new twist in the competition determined who moved into the house and compete for the grand prize. This time, however, the "house" was actually the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, Calif. The winner of "Last Comic Standing" got a special on Bravo and a development deal with NBC. The show's original host/executive producer, Jay Mohr, did not return for the fourth season. The series courted controversy during its second season, when "celebrity judges" Drew Carey and Brett Butler protested who was ultimately chosen as a finalist.
