History:
Miley Cyrus, who became a pop culture tween icon in the title role, originally auditioned for the role of best friend Lilly Truscott. A Hannah Montana concert tour built around Cyrus sold out in record time in most cities, where tickets were scalped for more than $1,000 each in some cases. The original idea for "Hannah Montana" is based on an episode of another Disney Channel series, "That's So Raven."
