History:
"Gilmore Girls" is the first series to make it to the air supported by the Family Friendly Forum's Script Development Fund, an initiative between some of the nation's top advertisers and The WB. The series is executive-produced by Gavin Polone ("Stir of Echoes," "Drop Dead Gorgeous") and Amy Sherman-Palladino ("Roseanne," "Veronica's Closet"), who is also the creator. Sherman-Palladino and fellow executive producer (and husband) Daniel left the show in 2006.
