Description
Based on the film of the same name, "Friday Night Lights" centers on the rural town of Dillon, Texas, where winning the state football championships is prized above all else. The promising team from Dillon High School, led by a newly-appointed head coach, feels the pressure of so many expectations. The interactions between the team members, current and former players, supporters, coaching staff and regular townsfolk address many of the issues facing small-town America today. "Friday Night Lights" is executive-produced by Brian Grazer ("Cinderella Man," "A Beautiful Mind"), David Nevins ("Arrested Development"), Jason Katims ("Roswell") and Peter Berg -- who not only directed the feature film, but also wrote and directed the series pilot.
