Penn, what will you take away from this experience?
Penn: It's so tempting to answer with a cliche or a platitude and I don't want to do that. I love learning new skills. [What's important] is the passion and skill of the person teaching you. Being taught to dance by Kym [Johnson] is like being taught physics by Dr. Richard Feynman or being taught to play upright base by Ray Brown.
Penn and Kym, how did you feel about the judges' comments?
Penn: Arthur Penn, the greatest [film] director of all time said to me that the most important thing in the world is to worry about what you have control over -- not about what you don't have control over. Kym : I'm so proud of Penn. I think we did so well. We had so much fun. I didn't [agree] with what the judges said, but that's okay.
Marlee, what will you miss about Penn?
Marlee Matlin: When we first got together, we didn't know each other. But then we learned about each other -- and now they're gone! Penn didn't have time to show us magic tricks, but he's one of the most fascinating people that I've ever met.
Penn, will you continue to dance?
Penn: I don't think so, but I had a good time. I've been told that we all come back for the last night, so this isn't goodbye for good.
