Description
This series features police officers in action in cities across the country while they chase, arrest or apprehend suspects. The Emmy-nominated series celebrated its 400th episode in the spring of 2001 and entered its 12th season in 2002, beating the records of venerated classics "M*A*S*H" and "Cheers." It was the first U.S. television program allowed to follow the police in the former Soviet Union.
