Why They Got It Wrong: The beloved TV cartoon created by Bill Cosby was a Saturday morning classic, but the celluloid version is a little too flabby. In it, the Junkyard Gang comes to life to help a young girl make friends. But the flick over-delivered on message and under-delivered on fun.

Why They Got It Wrong: Based on the 1975 show, this "shoot-'em-up" flick boasts an A-list cast, but even the star wattage couldn't make up for it's implausible plot, warmed over one-liners and mindless violence. Like the show, the best thing about this movie is the theme song.

Why They Got It Wrong: Rosie O'Donnell's annoying version of Betty's laugh, "The Bedrock Twitch," the B(C)-52's, the desperate attempt to demonstrate the effects of implementing new technologies ... that pretty much sums it up.

Why They Got It Wrong: Will Smith is sent to save President Grant from the evil clutches of a 19th-century inventor-villain. The plot doesn't make any sense and the characters are tired stereotypes. This movie, based on the 1960's hit TV show, is just wild, wild wrong.

7. 'The Mod Squad'
Why They Got It Wrong: When the crime can be resolved in less than an hour, it definitely makes sense to make a two and a half hour movie, right? WRONG! This film, starring Claire Danes and Omar Epps, ultimately confused the audience -- good cop, bad cop, good cop, on and on.
About the Movie
Why They Got It Wrong: A TV show that we all know and love spawned a movie that just didn't live up to the Go-Go Gadget legacy. The Claw should be faceless, the name is Inspector Gadget not John Brown and Penny always solves the case!

Why They Got It Wrong: Despite a massive $90 million budget and big-name cast (William Hurt, Matt LeBlanc, Heather Graham), the movie had none of the charm and kitsch of the TV show. 'Joey in Space' was just a stinker.

Why They Got It Wrong: At least Nicole Kidman could wiggle her nose like Elizabeth Montgomery. But when Isabel (Samantha) and Jack (Darrin) have an entire relationship in all of 10 minutes, you realize that nothing could compare to the antics of the lovebirds in the 1960s original.

Why They Got It Wrong: There are few British TV shows that can cut it in the States AND few TV shows that can cut it as a movie. This flick tried to be like 'Princess Bride' by pleasing all types of audiences -- and failed. Even the stellar cast (Uma Thurman, Ralph Fiennes and Sean Connery) couldn't save it.

Why They Got It Wrong: Two words: CGI Scooby. The writing made the silly original cartoon seem intelligent and groundbreaking in comparison. And while Matthew Lillard stole the show as Shaggy, the rest of the cast were poorly drawn caricatures of themselves.

Why They Got It Wrong: What happens when you mix a sexy singer in tight short shorts, a 'Jackass' and Sean William Scott? You'd think a funny & crazy movie, but you'd be wrong. We love car stunts, but two hours of car chases and jumps is just too much.
