'The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll' on The CW
Time to Shine: The Pussycat Dolls are on the prowl and looking to add a seventh member to their litter, as part of a new reality series set to air on The CW. AOL Television snuck into the Los Angeles leg of the nation-wide auditions and caught the hopefuls waiting to loosen up their buttons and show off their vocal and dancing chops.

Time to Shine: Each girl had only a few minutes to make a lasting first impression. The stakes are high since the winner gets to share in the wealth of the group's success. In the U.S., the group's debut album, 'PCD' has sold 1.8 million copies.
Time to Shine: Natacia, the second woman to audition in L.A., shakes her money maker for the panel of producers. Executive producers Ken Mok ('America's Next Top Model') and McG ('Charlie's Angels') say the eight-episode show will likely get a midseason run.
Time to Shine: Nanette fills in her scout sheet while waiting to audition. According to McG, this show won't be just another singing competition. He said, in a published report, “I’m most interested in the personal drama. It’s about all the real-life stuff that lies within."
Time to Shine: Christine, waiting in line for her shot to sing and dance, knows the importance of dressing the part. The Dolls started as a Vegas burlesque act and have since featured celebrity performers as Carmen Electra, Christina Aguilera and Christina Applegate.
Time to Shine: Waiting, waiting and more waiting. The lucky few who make it on the show will be guided by the group's creator, Robin Antin, who happens to be the sister of 'Blow Out' star Jonathan Antin.
Time to Shine: Sara was the first to audition at the L.A. casting. There's no time for nerves if she plans on joining lead singer Nicole Scherzinger on stage one day.
Time to Shine: Morgan was third in line for her audition. Think you have what it takes? The show is also hitting up New York, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago and Miami looking for hot, undiscovered talent.
Time to Shine: You gotta stay on key! Andrea shares her iPod with Jameelah while passing the hours.
Time to Shine: One of these things is not like the other. Female impersonator Willam (left) showed up and showed out! Hey, the rules didn't say that contestants actually had to be real women.
Time to Shine: For some auditioners, their 15 minutes of fame came a little earlier than expected. A camera crew with 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' showed up to profile the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Time to Shine: Even if the girls look good in person, it may not matter if they don't shine on camera -- as Sara is about to find out. In this competition, it's not only the contestants' singing and dancing skills that matter; their sheer self-confidence will be put to the test.
