Kelly Ripa, 'Live With Regis and Kelly'

Love Her: Keeping up with Regis Philbin, who's been on TV almost since the thing was invented, is no easy task. But Kelly's got the goods.
Peppy Personified: She's perky without being annoying, quick-witted and manages to keep Reege on his toes. As proof, their opening chat remains the best part of the show.

Joy Behar, 'The View'

Love Her: Joy, a New Yorker to the bone, doesn't take anybody's crap. Her wisecracks and on-air squabbles with Star Jones this season won her a permanent place in our hearts.
Holding Down the Fort: With Meredith Vieira heading to the 'Today' show, Joy "Tell It Like It Is" Behar is perhaps the only reason left to watch.

Love Her: Who cares that her version of 'The Apprentice' was a flop? Daytime is where Martha's true colors shine through.
Daytime Diva: Early in the first season, it seemed she tried too hard to be nice. But the prissy, easily-annoyed Martha we love is back in action, correcting her guests and hogging space at the stove. It's a good thing.

Dr. Phil McGraw, 'Dr. Phil'

Love to Hate Him: OK, so 'hate' is a strong word. But what once made Dr. Phil a novelty now makes him irritating. One can only take so much of the blunt psycho babble and homespun words of wisdom.
Pitchman Perils: He's done ads for a dating Web site and even hawked weight-loss products. We're still wondering who made Dr. Phil a physical fitness expert.

Star Jones Reynolds, 'The View'

Love to Hate Her: Earth to Star Jones: Get over yourself! So you lost weight and got married. That's great. But do you really need to remind viewers on an almost daily basis?
Enough is Enough: As co-host of 'The View,' the newly reinvented Star Jones Reynolds is -- in a word -- intolerable. It's her ego, not her waistline, that needs shrinking.

Love to Hate Him: Fair enough, Tony seems like a good guy. But being a good talk show host requires a little more -- like, say, interviewing skills.
