The Brady Bunch Where Are They Now?
Here's the story of the clan named Brady and how they grew up and moved on with their lives (or not). Do they still have hair of gold, or of gray now? Does the youngest one still have curls? We've found them all and even some famous guest stars who once stole the show. See how this troop that somehow formed a TV family has fared since they left 'The Brady Bunch.'
More Where Are They Now
Maureen McCormick
Then: The epitome of the popular blonde teen, Maureen McCormick's Marcia was who every girl wanted to be, or be friends with. She sported a stylish wardrobe, perfect tresses, a killer smile and excelled at pretty much at everything she tried.
Maureen McCormick
Now: The actress/singer recently shed pounds on 'Celebrity Fit Club' and is set to appear on the upcoming CMT reality series 'Gone Country.' Oh, and then there were those lesibian rumors -- denied by McCormick -- that caused such a stir when it was leaked that her forthcoming autobiography 'Here's the Story' had dish on her romance with Eve Plumb.
Eve Plumb
Then: Eve Plumb's Jan was always slightly jealous of her siblings, especially "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia." Talented in her own right, she still tried everything to stand out from her older sis, including desperately trying to change her appearance.
Eve Plumb
Now: Though she didn't appear on the Brady variety show, she returned for 'A Very Brady Christmas' special and the short-lived spinoff 'The Bradys'. Currently she makes her living as an artist, but she recently appeared as a stranger on the game show 'Identity.
Davy Jones
Then: The Monkees star was Marcia Brady's fantasy man. Striving to impress her fellow Davy Jones Fan Club members she promised that she could get the dreamy singer to perform at her prom. Marcia managed to track him down at a recording studio and convince the baby-faced crooner to be her date for the big dance.
Davy Jones
Now: While this father and grandfather can still be spotted touring around with his own band, he spends most of his time at his farm in Pennsylvania where he raises horses. He recently collaborated with children's book author Sandra Boynton on a song.
Robert Reed
R.I.P Born John Robert Rietz, Jr. this classically-trained actor was rumored to be disappointed that he was relegated to playing a dad on a silly sitcom. Still the tolerant and understanding Mike Brady was much loved by fans. Robert Reed went on to do guest appearances on shows including 'Murder, She Wrote' and 'Hawaii Five-O.' He died in 1992 of AIDS related complications.
Ann B. Davis
Then: Ann B. Davis played the loveable and loyal Alice (and even Alice's no-nonsense cousin Emma) the live-in housekeeper of the Brady clan. From making dinner to cracking jokes to lending a shoulder to cry on Alice was an invaluable member of the Brady family.
Ann B. Davis
Now: Now living in San Antonio, Texas and mostly retired, Davis focuses on helping with her local church and doing charity work. Occasionally, she returns to the spotlight for commercials (recently for Swiffer) or other 'Brady'-related appearances.
Rita Wilson
Then: Rita Wilson's guest appearance as Pat Conway on 'The Brady Bunch' had Greg jumping for joy. Greg was tasked with the lucky job of judging who should be head cheerleader, unfortunately sister Marcia and his girlfriend were in the running. Instead, Greg voted for Pat, who was actually is the best cheerleader of the bunch. Now: Now Mrs. Tom Hanks is a busy actress and mother of two sons. She produced the hit movie 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' and has appeared on Broadway in 'Chicago.'
Christopher Knight
Then: As middle son Peter, Christopher Knight went though puberty in the public eye, which was especially awkward with his voice-cracking performance of 'A Time to Change.' Peter had trouble keeping his part-time jobs, but the enterprising kid was a local hero with an affinity for magic.
Christopher Knight
Now: Knight returned to the spotlight in a big way on VH1's 'Surreal Life 4.' He met his current bride, 'America's Next Top Model' winner Adrianne Curry, which then led to his own show 'My Fair Brady' chronicling their romance and wedding. The duo now have a line of hair care products.
Robbie Rist
Then: Just the mere mention of Robbie Rist's Cousin Oliver causes an uproar among Brady aficiandos who were disgruntled that the tow-headed tot was brought on for the last season as the other "kids" started to hit their teenage years. Oliver's family was out of the country and he was sent to live with his Aunt Carol, but he had a string of bad luck and never quite fit in.
Robbie Rist
Now: After 'The Brady Bunch' went off the air, Rist made a fine career for himself with guest gigs, voiceover work and as a music producer. He's performed as the lead singer/guitarist for many L.A.-based rock bands and produced the recent horror movie 'Stump the Band.'
Susan Olsen
Then: The youngest of the Brady brood, Susan Olsen's Cindy had adorable curly blonde pigtails, a love of her Kitty Karry-all doll and a sweet little lisp. She often found herself in trouble for tattling and snooping, but mostly had a good heart and wanted to help out her family and neighborhood.
Susan Olsen
Now: Though urban legend claims that Olsen became a porn star, she actually went to work as a graphic designer and later hosted a radio show in L.A. She's now married and has a son who suffers from autism.
Nicholas Hammond
Then: Already famed from his role as the eldest Von Trapp boy in 'The Sound of Music', Nicholas Hammond showed up as Doug Simpson, the boy of Marcia's dreams. Unfortunately for Marcia, her date with Doug coincided with her famous "oh my nose" moment when the blonde beauty got walloped by a wildly thrown football. Now: Hammond went on to star as Peter Parker on the '70s TV series 'The Amazing Spider-man.' He now lives in Australia and makes his living as a screenwriter and occasional guest star on shows like 'Farscape.'
Mike Lookinland
Then: Curly-haired cutie Mike Lookinland had to dye his light locks to play Bobby Brady, a ambitious and determined pint-sized kid. He was always seeking a way to stand out in his large family by breaking world records or concocting a get rich quick scheme.
Mike Lookinland
Now: Appeared on the short-lived spin off 'The Bradys' and then was arrested for DWI in 1997. Now reportedly clean and sober, the married father of two boys, still makes occasional guest appearances but primarily works behind the scenes as a cameraman.
Joe Namath
Then: Joe Namath visited the Brady household under truly false pretenses. Bobby bragged to his friends that he knew the legendary football star. That's when Cindy wrote a letter saying that her brother was dying. The good-natured quarterback stopped to visit his (allegedly) ailing fan.
Joe Namath
Now: The hall-of-fame quarterback currently makes his home in Florida where he runs a football camp. A father of two, who spent time as a football announcer, he recently published his autobiography 'Namath.'
Allan Melvin
Then: In his recurring role as Sam the Butcher, Allan Melvin was sweet on Brady housekeeper Alice. An avid bowling fan, he gave the sassy maid extra discounts on her meat purchases as a way to win her heart. Now: After his stint on the Brady's he worked on the 'All in the Family' spin off 'Archie Bunker's Place' and did numerous commercials. He's currently retired and living in Michigan.
Barry Williams
Then: Oh, that fro! Williams played the popular and cool eldest sibling in the blended Brady crew. The one-time Johnny Bravo had the ladies swooning with his laid-back style and off-screen dated co-stars Maureen McCormick and Florence Henderson.
Barry Williams
Now: Williams does a lot of theater and continues to live a very Brady life. He wrote his biography 'Growing Up Brady' and is currently living in the past in his off-Broadway musical revue 'Growing Up '70s.' He hosts a '70s themed radio show on Sirius, put out a pop CD 'The Return of Johnny Bravo' and sang on a holiday themed Wiggles DVD.
Florence Henderson
Then: Prior to becoming the beloved Carol Brady, Florence Henderson broke ground as first woman to host 'The Tonight Show.' As Mrs. Brady she was a vision in pantsuits, making mothering six children look like a breeze with plenty of time to needlepoint and look sexy for her spouse.
Florence Henderson
Now: Embracing her persona as a favorite TV mom, Henderson has recently become a counselor for the crazy houseguests on VH1's 'Surreal Life.' The busy and bubbly mom also does voiceover work, commercials, has a line of cosmetics and hosts 'Living Live!' on the Retirement Living cable channel.
