The year before this show came out, my daughter gave birth to a lovely baby boy. She was 17 at the birth. She didn't give up on her dreams, they just altered into other dreams that are more realistic. She is a wonderful mother, always puts Caleb first. It was interesting watching this show and hearing myself come out of Molly Ringwald's mouth. She gave Amy so much advice that I had given my daughter. Teen pregnancy doesn't mean the end of a life, it's just a beginning of a different one.

Mr. Gooddady have u ever sceen the show or r u making a generalization about teenage pregnancy? I know for a fact that this show has many facets 2 it 2 show pre-teen/teenagers the difficulties of having a baby @ 16 & how her life has turned upside down & how relationships have changed, i.e.parents, friends, boyfriend, sister & biological dad. The show also lets see other problems teenagers r going thru. When the show premieed my 12yr old daughter wanted to watch it. However, I told her that if she wanted 2 watch it that she would be watching w/ me. This way if she had any questions or if I wanted to explain something from the we could have a real dialogue & we do. After each episode we discuss the main topics in the show. This show has done nothing wrong, it has only given me another tool to discuss this sometimes difficult topic. Hats off to Brenda Hampton on yet another successful program like Seventh Heaven. Please do not stop your show have great meaning. Keep up the good work!

these shows are dangerous as they do glamorize teenage pregnancy much like the movie Juno. Dont get me wrong teenage pregnancy is a reality and for some it works out ok but for most it does not and it changes not only the child but most certainly the parents lives also. I would like to see a show that has a contrasting view which shows how difficult life can be.

ya know, this really is a good show with good messages, ******* definitely gone too far. its becoming way too dramatic and kind of unrealistic. also the acting isn't exactly the best....

Chopper thats the thing... it's NOT glamorizing ******** very matter of fact and the main point of it is to show the repurcussions of ******** while advocating for abstinence. Other shows like 90210 and such are the ones glamorizing sex but no one seems to find issues with those shows now because the protagonists aren't the ones knocked up, they just sleep around like there's no tomorrow. Kudos to abc family for airing a show that can open up the lines of communication for parents and teens!!

OMG i used to never atch this show then one day there was nuffin on tv so i watched a maronthon of the first season and now im addicted to watching this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
