I have been a fan of David Cook since the auditions. He has a strong voice and remarkable range that has the spell-binding effect on me that I love! Still, I have dual-voted for both Davids a time or two this season. David Archuletta impressed me with his unique sounding voice as well, though I clearly remember he had three weeks in the middle where I thought he was going home for sure, he was so out of tune. But he got a grip and made it back to the top. I thought Cook seemed exhausted on Tuesday night and I was worried about the eliminations because I didn't think the last two songs were his best effort, albeit after a killer week. He definitely needs to stay on pitch TOTALLY 100% on Tuesday or he will end up being #2. David Archulleta has a wider fan base, in my opinion. If David Cook brings his trademark originality and rockin' range, he can take it all. Two great guys, should be lots of fun!

in the real world the hands down winner is David Cook.....unfortunately, this is the world of the American Idol tweeniebopper, which means the win will most likely go to Archuleta. But, hey, winning isn't everything....look at Chris Daughtry.
