Simon Fuller was on Ellen DeGeneres show Tues. afternoon before Idol that night. He said that David Cook was going to be the winner. That was before he saw David C. preform his songs. Guess he changed his mind. Also, I saw the Idol show on TVGN where the A. Idols that are voted off go on to be interviewed, and a few weeks ago they had a voice coach from Hollywood on. He says that David Cooks dowfall will be that he sings from his chest not from his diaphram.

I really do not believe in the grand scheme of things last nights show mattered too much. I think people knew who they were going to vote for regardless of how the show went. I also think Archie is going to win because for every 1 adult who calls in a vote for Cook, there is 1 teenage girl texting in 200 times for Arch. I bet that one phone number, one vote, would have changed the results of past shows and very well whatever the results are tonight.

The show's object is to find the best singer which musically is David A. Cook is a better performer, but anyone who has any musical knkowledge can see his voice is not the better of the two. Both will have big futures , but A I could probably get more money from Cook sooner, so who knows what the results will be. No one will ever know what the actual vote was.

I agree with Jensfort's comment that David C gave it away to David A. David C clearly is the better of the two.

They are both great stars! I think they each have promising careers ahead of them. If David A. wins I hope he can maintain the same sweetness and not let the world stardom ruin his character. Best to both.

David Cook was so bad last night, I'm starting to think he stunk it up on purpose. I've never heard him do so bad. David A. was flawless as usual. They are both stars. I really enjoyed the show this year, and will watch it as long as they keep going!!

DC will have a huge career whether he wins or not. DA has a LOT of growing up to do before he can handle the rigors of a record career. He seems to be a one dimensional singer with a nice voice. I was embarrassed for Reuben last night - singing away while outtakes flashed up behind him, audience laughing...

American Idol needs to get over itself. I'm not sure I will watch it next season.

David A. is great. He should put "Love me tender", by Elvis, on a Cd it would go to number one. And as for David Cook. The guy can really rock and will do well for himself.

Very obviously the judges' favorite is David A...but I stil go for David Cook! Hes the best.

It was so obvious that david cook handed it over to archie! I hope the kid wins so COOK can get better record deals and not be under American Idol's strict contrct!
