HONOLULU (Jan. 5) - A sidekick of TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman turned himself in to authorities Friday after a shopping center security guard reported seeing him naked in his pickup truck, performing a lewd act, police said.

But Tim Chapman's lawyer insists his client spilled juice on himself and was just changing clothes Thursday night.

Tim Chapman, associate of famed TV bounty hunter Duane 'Dog' Chapman, was discovered naked in his truck by a security guard.

The guard told Chapman to put on his clothes and get out of the truck, police said. After dressing, Chapman started his truck and drove over a sidewalk, nearly hitting the guard, then drove off, police said.

The guard told police that he recognized Chapman from Duane Chapman's show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" and that he was performing an unspecified lewd act. Duane Chapman and Tim Chapman are not related.

Tim Chapman's attorney, Brook Hart, said it was all a misunderstanding.

"It was simply a man who wet his pants with orange juice inadvertently and was changing them, doing nothing wrong at all and believing he had sufficient privacy to do it," Hart said.

Police said they were investigating whether to charge Chapman, 42.

The A&E television network put the show on hold indefinitely in November after the release of a private phone conversation in which Duane Chapman repeatedly used a racial slur to describe his son's girlfriend. He has apologized repeatedly.

Well, he goes to a Black Supremicist Church. I think you're a little paranoid about white supremicist groups. Aren't they the ones Clinton focused on rather than Muslim terrorists, and look what happened?

Damn who does that ? Maybe its an indication of the overstressed and overworked world we live in ,the poor guy didnt even have the time to go home and do his business? Then again maybe he was just "trying out " the new hand creme he bought there at the wal mart to see whether he wanted to keep it or return it ?

Does anyone remember "judge not......" ???
The "N" word is often associated with a skin color, but there are plenty of people out there who know thats its what is inside a person that determines their character, not their skin color. Too many people have too much time on their hands, apparently.

The chicken couldn't wait to be choked or should I say, stroked. Was it white juice that he spilt? I could be that the news about the erupting volcano, caused this inter -eruption.

Dog knew he was in the public eye, he should have been more appropriate, let's not excuse Dog's ignorances. We fight to make excuses for Dog to condone our own inner ignorances. Geesh, if we hate people of color so much, we must hate ourselves, because science cannot refute that we are their mutated gene.

mainst633 09:42:20 AM Jan 11 2008

Maybe when we look for ways to stop excusing ignorances, we'll be able to truly grow as a society. Of course Dog is busy catching creeps, usually it takes one to know one, and a man that has a history of arm robbery, and possible murder does not have his hands clean, and should be in jail with the rest.

mainst633 09:40:02 AM Jan 11 2008

the word is offensive period, and though used by blacks, which is equally stupid, it is meant to be offensive when it comes from the mouths of us whites, and we all know this as fact. Why whine over your right to use the word when half the rednecks and racist use the term anyhow, to me it just states, I'm looking for something to cry over, Wauuuuuh! I want my right to be racist and ignorant. Look at Dog's features anyhow, is he truly white? You can't tell me that's all Indian.

This politically correct shit is getting out of hand.Let the Dog alone, the call everyone keeps bringing up was illeagal.Dog did not know about it till it was done. The Enquirer purchased it and that is the same as receiving stole goods and they should be charged as well as his criminal son.The call was supposed to be private and what is said in private is supposed to be private. If this was anyone else the Enquirer would be neck deep in a lawsuit.Dog is a very busy man catching creeps like ANDREW LUSTER to be tied up in this crap that was started by the Enquirer to begin with.LET THE DOG ALONE!!!!!! larry2j

what ever

eyesablu 08:17:00 AM Jan 11 2008

My two cents...
What Dog said to his SON in PRIVATE is DOG'S business.. We all say things in our OWN HOMES that we might not say on the streets.. WE HAVE THAT RIGHT!
We also all say things in the heat of an arguement that we regret when the smoke clears.. what they did to DOG was wrong!!!
What Dogs son did to HIM was wrong... The fact that the word ***** was used doesnt really mean much... it is a life style not a color issue...I do agree it is used way to much but if youre not a ***** then ya really shouldnt be offended by it.....Anyone remember sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never harm me LOL
AND What the hell does any of this have to do with this guy getting caught with his pants down????????????

retour 01:17:00 AM Jan 11 2008
