Pooch-Mourning O'Neal Sought Crack

NEW YORK (June 3) - Tatum O'Neal has told a newspaper that she was distraught over the loss of her dog when she went looking to buy drugs from a Manhattan street dealer last weekend.

The 44-year-old actress says in Tuesday editions of the New York Post that she lost her Scottish terrier about three weeks ago.

Comedian-actor Andy Dick is reportedly being held on $5,000 bail after he was arrested on charges of misdemeanor sexual battery and suspicion of drug possession, the Press-Enterprise is reporting.

When a person is close to a pet, especially a cat and/or dog, they can be devastated by the death of the pet. However, when you are recovering from drugs, alcohol, etc., something like that can set you off. She was lucky to get caught; hopefully, she will go to rehab. She is a terrific actress, and has so much to look for in her life. Do any of you think she resembles Sarah Brown who was the original Carly in General Hospital? Sarah now plays another character in the same soap and does a mean job of being a mob daughter *****.

Whatever Tatum's reasons for buying it, we should all be glad she got caught. At the very least it will slow down her purchases if not make her think very seriously about going down that black hole again. Good luck to her to clean up and stay clean!!!!

Well, to be fair Ju8Hu, I heard on the radio from reputable news source 1010 WINS in NYC that when she was arrested, she told cops she was researching a role of a crack addict and wanted to get a feel for the part. She then asked them to forget about the whole thing. What gall.
So personally, if you ask me, it sounds like she's fishing for excuses. A normal person would try to cover their @ss if they're going to be in trouble; An abnormal person goes looking for crack to "research a role" or because their "dog died".

If it was a JOINT she was smoking then maybe just maybe it would be a different aspect. But I have seen people smoke the "harmless, herbal weed and be useless individuals to society, and cause more harm than a crackhead would.
And I am not belitting in no way her loss of her dog but it has been more than once that she has been "caught" using. Using Drugs do not answer or make her problems go away, its a cycle to continue using

Her dog died and that's why she was buying crack???? I had an uncle, grandmother and a sister die in less than 6 months!!!! Now I am not saying that her dog was not an important figure in her life but what BULL!!!! I am feed up with the way individuals that are addicts try to justify the means on why they get high. Now look at all the damage she has caused not only to herself, but her children and other family members.

This was such a ridiculous arrest. These damn pigs had nothing better to do than create a media circus so they can get their names in the paper. Fat blubbery disgusting pigs caused a circus for 20 dollars worth of coke. If these fat losers did their job on the 30-years war on drugs (LOL) maybe they wouldn't have to turn peoples lives upside down for practically nothing. yeah I know it's illegal . I get it. So is eating a grape fro the produce market without paying for it.

Losing my dog made me quit smoking crack. Oh yeah, my dog was who I was getting it from. Lost a dog and a dealer all in one day....Life sure sucks don't it!
