I myself am not a Miley Sirus fan... her show is decent at best and I dont find her sing to be any better. But I do know that as a teen star many kids do in fact love her.... I wouldnt have a problem with the photos if it wasnt her and her dad together... thats just akward and creepy. But the pictures of her with simply a towel on are way over the limit not to mention i dont find her attractive what-so-ever in those pictures but thats just my opinion. Besides if she enjoyed taking "risky" pictures like that mabey she should stop with the disney shows that smaller childeren tend to watch??

first off, i agree that those vanity faire pictures are beautiful. i think it was nice that she was able to pull away from all the childish stuff for a bit. do i agree with the topless picture? of course not. i know they meant for it to be "art" and is deffinetly beautiful. but at 15 no girl should be taking risky pictures like that. As for the other pictures of her in underwear... she just needs to learn that she is a role model for teenage girls everywhere. and with so many girls already taking pictures like that and making bad choices all we need is someone telling them thats ok... But other than that i am a big fan of miley and i hope she has learned her lesson. i would hate for her 2 become another jamie lynn :/

Mistake, my ass. Can no one see that those so-called "racy" photos were simply art? I despise this ridiculous preteen idol stuff as much as anyone, however I am very quick to say that I like those photographs. They were very well-done and eye catching; no one can really blame her for taking part in something that was very much true art, thus breaking away from the kiddie fare for just a minute. She has my sympathy, as I'm sure she's getting plenty of crap for doing something she wanted to and being forced to say that she hated it. I'm certain that she only "regrets" it just because it may harm her reputation, or so her lawyers and advisers say.

Yeah, we do all make mistakes, she has a point. But she has to realise that she IS a role model, and not only to teenagers. I have a six year old niece who adores her, and when news of the photos broke, she remarked to me, "I can't believe Hannah Montana would do something wrong."It's a hard life to lead, being a public figure. I'm not about to try to argue that it's not. I know I've done things I would be mortified to have my niece find out about, and I'm very glad there's no public record of them. Living in the spotlight, Miley has to be even more careful. She needs to stop and think through her actions, and realize she can't just be a regular teen, because small children don't have quite the same capacity as tweens and teens to just shrug off mistakes. Everything she does they see, and want to emulate.Of course, not all the blame lies with Miley. She's only what, 14 or 15? Where was her father when these pictures were taken? He needs to take some responsibility as well. Star or not,

The AOL header: Miley Leaves scandal in rearview mirror. My opinion she should and she should have her father (because he is an adult give the press who stir up these contraversies a big middle finger. I am not sure what the point of the pictures were as I do not think many teenage boys read Vanity fair and If an adult purchased the mag for the pictures he is a demented perv. In anycase there was nothing revealing or offensive in the pictures, but the EVIL Press who I blame for the majority of the disention in this country label it , marketed the rumor and embarassed a child star for no reason other than to make money. So for all you posters who want to be so nasty in your opinions of a15 yearold girl, give her the benefit of the doubt and express your rage where it belong which is with the sleezy tabloid and "legitimate" press.

Dear Miley ~ You have been on a slippery slope for a while now. The pictures surely didn't help.Your career has peaked and you must step away and let the next teen star have her turn. If you don't beleive me, walk through any store ~ Hanna Montana products are taking up shelf space and I honestly don't remember the last time I saw a little girl in a HM article of clothing.Bow gracefully and thank everyone and leave the stage.Blue Kentucky Girl
