I wish him all the luck. I watched all his movies and TV shows and still do whenever I see them on. I had the good fortune many years ago of being in Las Vegas and trying to get into the Judy Garland show and there he was standing right next to me. Let me tell you, he was more handsome in real life than on TV or the movies and all I could do was stand there and gape. What a man and he seemed really nice.

I have been a fan of James Garner since he did the Maverick series some years ago, and he could have put his shoes under my bed any time ! What a hunk of man, and cute to boot ! Get well, and Godspeed on your recover.

He did all of his own stunts in his movies by which he payed for in his later years. He is a great actor.

Maverick, great show, they are replaying the entire series on "Me Too" now. What's interesting is in the first few episodes the "Mavericks" were NOT "cowardly/prudent" as they appeared to be later in the series. Rockford files also very good. I like Garner, well at least I liked his shows, never met the man in person.

I also grew up with Maverick and loved the Rockford Files, too. Be well, Jim -- the world is a better place with your humor in it.

I grew up watching "Maverick"; James Garner is a classic. I hope he sticks around for a while longer; he's still an amazing actor.
