She is only as good as the writers make her. I like Britney and hope she gets better but she isn't doing this on her own. She must have good writers to be good. Seinfield was the pits, in my opinion. Never did like him.

If you think a network is going to build a 2 million dollar per episode around Britney Spears, you're drunk. This is a BS article. Who is the network insider. The writer of this article, that's who. Didn't even get the remark that "she acts as good as she sings" was a slam!

It was impressive that they didn't try to make Brit the main story line. Her's was a supporting role and she was great in it.

It would be great if she was able to transition to television acting - both to get herself out from under the trainwreck and to establish herself in a related, but fundamentally new field. The question, initially, though has to be "How many people are watching Britney because she is a good actress (comedic or otherwise)? And how many are watching simply to see her fall flat on her backside?" I would suggest that the ratings "burp" from her most recent appearance would fall in the latter category, regrettably.
Still, I would hope Britney is given the opportunity to prove herself as an actress in order to get some stability and good things back in her life. I just hope that no one makes the mistake of building a show around her as the central figure. Better she do cameos and guest-shots at the start. Build up to it and get a decent resume. Then, based on THAT, go after a central role.

Actually she wasnt bad at all. Maybe a busy TV schedule would keep the train wreck out of trouble? Could be a blessing.

britney did a good job. her own sitcom? I think that would be foolish. she should
shoot for a recurring role on an established show to ease the pressure of having
a show rest on her shoulders.
