COOK WILL BE FINE AND MAKE A LOT OF MONEY BUT HE IS NOT THE BEST PERFORMER. YOU HEAR IT TOUGH GUYS.

I really feel that both contestants did very well last night. My vote though had to go for Cooke. I feel that every song he sings sounds different and is very original. I feel that "Archie" only has one sound. He is an amazing talent but he is singing too many older sounding songs. Cooke is someone that I feel can handle the business , the stress, the hours, the criticism. I just do not feel that Archuleta is ready for that yet. I am not taking away from the fact that the kid can flat out sing, but not ready for the industry. Good Luck to both

I think it was awful the way the judges praised David A week after week for singing the same boring types of songs and never changing anything. Why did they never tell him to make the songs his own and not copy the original singer...David Cook was great last night and every night of the show... I hope he wins , Four out of five of my friends want David Cook to win and only one wanted David A so it will be interesting to see who wins tonight...go David Cook I know you will have a great career in signing however the results are....

Archuleta would have been a good pick if we lived back in the 1940's !
Boring, Blah, Same old Same crap week after week.
I would never buy that kind of music, but I bet some 13-year-olds will, ohhh big market there!

shame on the judges last night for being so bias. I think David Cook is orignial and much more thrilling to watch. David A is too boring and can only sign ballards. I do think David C was crushed by the judges comments. shame on u Simon!!!! Either way David C will have the better future and you can bet I will be buying his cd.

Last nights battle of the Davids was a crock! I get a kick out of Simons critique when it is just, however, when he goes for the juggler, when not necessary, it takes alot away from perfect performances. I think David Cook is phenomenal the way he changes up a song blows me away. He has proven that he is diverse in his style,from his blow a way version of Billie Jean to his beautifully goose bump giving rendition of Music of the Night. WOW. David Archuletta does have a strong voice for being 17, however, I don't believr he has shown the diversity of David Cook. His voice reminds me of that of a Boy Band ie Back Street Boys, New kids on th Block, Menudo!! I think standing alone David Cook has what it takes, and Archuletta should look for three or four other guys to form a balad singing boy band. I know David Cook can sell records, I have downloaded every performance of his on my Ipod. David Archuletta's are not on my playlist and wont be. Good Luck to David Cook.....He deserves the AI

David A. - a knock out winner - give me a break! He did the same old crap in the same old way, missed the same old notes and butchered the greatest song of all times - Imagine. If this is what you give an award for that's more than pathetic.

David Cook deserves to win, is incredibly talented and the main (or only) reason to watch the show this year has been to hear him sing.

I think you have to call an ace an ace. Archuletta definitely outsang Cook. He definitely has better vocals. Sadly, but true, Cook will do far better in his career
because his music is what sells. Definitely does NOT MAKE him a better singer!
Archulleta wins hands down.

I think it is tkme we all get back to gentleness and clean cut appearences such as the winner had last night. Scruffy beards and words mumbled into a mike are not star making qualities. David Archuleta vocals were crystal clear and his appearence neat looking. Good luck to him... he's got a great future ahead. His voice had clear tone and great power and a nice stage presence, Maybe if we all had his manners the world would be a much better place. Imagine that!
