CLEARWATER, Fla. (Nov. 26) - Hulk Hogan's wife said in a divorce petition that she wants a share of the family's two multimillion-dollar Florida properties plus alimony and child support for their 17-year-old son.

Linda Bollea filed for divorce from Hogan - whose real name is Terry Bollea - last week after 24 years of marriage. The petition says the marriage is "irretrievably broken."

The pop songstress and motocross champ still have a "huge amount of love and respect for one another," but are putting the kibosh on their marriage.

The marital assets that need to be equitably divided include the nearly 17,000-square-foot mansion in Belleair where the family lives and a 3,474-square-foot home on Clearwater Beach.

Pinellas County records place the market value of the Belleair mansion at more than $7.2 million and the Clearwater house at more than $2.2 million. The Bolleas also have a condominium under construction in Las Vegas.

Linda Bollea also seeks an unspecified amount for alimony and child support for their 17-year-old son, Nick, who was arrested this month in connection with a traffic crash that left a passenger with severe brain injuries.

Her attorney declined to comment.

I feel bad for the whole family, I think that they were a loveing family whoj just needs to be council and more undersandng from both Linda and the Hulkster. If she needs more of her own then she needed to sit down and explain that to him. He should try and understand that. She could have just took a vacation and think about things first. The D word is a little harsh. 24 years is a long tiime for the D word. Linda I know that he might be a little to hard to deal with. You know what you got , but the scary thing is you don't know what your getting.

Linda is an overspending oinker, who should have taken care of herself, like the Hulkster did. There was talk of a divorce, before the wreck. He's a nice guy who loves her.

Lisa Marie has nerve trying to get some of Tim Burton's money. She has her own,
he has the talented mind, hers is full of air.

Its a shame all those years to waste, why didn't she be a woman and tell him not him finding out from a reporter. If this is because of Nicks accident then its a move but he should pay for what he did not his parents. That's what is wrong with these kids not all parents are responsible for what their kids do if brought up right, He is old enough to know better. They should make him pay and not go after the parents. But they should not have given him that car because he didn't deserve it.
When kids learn to work for they money a honest way they wouldn't be fast to go out and destroy or reck something or someone. The government tells you not to discipline your kids well let the government take care of them see how they turn out but no they want no part in raising but want to tell you how to raise them, is this a dictoraship or what?
As far a the wife she spends to much money she needs to work for hers to and she won't be so fast to spend. I feel bad for the Hulk and his daught

Linda had her own business a few years ago, not sure if she still has it. As far as the sure to follow lawsuit goes for the 22 year old, divorce won't affect it. Who will be paying what -yes. Hell Linda may have to chip in her own share (?50%?) if it's settled after the divorce. And if the kid goes to jail, the state/county pays for his care, she has no costs--sounds like zippo child support is possible if the kid goes to jail. They suspend alimony if you go to prison because the state pays for food and shelter.

maybe now she can get lipo on that fat ass

I dont think she is a gold digger. There are a lot of gold diggers out there and I am a big advocate that they dont deserve shit. Linda is not a gold digger though. A Gold digger would have gotten out at the height of Hulkamania 20 years ago or 15 years ago with 2 small kids when she could clean house on the child support. The fact is they were married for 24 years and all those years she was home raising the kids while he was off entertaining the world, she couldnt have a career if she wanted to. WWE consumes your whole life, most of those wrestlers work 7 days a week and travel 52 weeks a year. Unlike professional Sports Wrestling has no seasons, the only time those guys get off is when they get injured. So with that in mind I think she is entitled to 1/2 of the assets.

pmart59015 08:13:14 PM Nov 28 2007

I think this is for real. In watching season 4 of Hogan Knows Best it seems that Hogan is running out of money, he sorta came out and said it when he made Brooke take over her finances. (When I say Broke I mean By their standards, not normal standards) He has owns 2 properties and and just sold one for 18 million (after the show aired) that he only paid 12 million for in 2006. So there might be between 10 and 20 million in the bank which is not enough for the family to continue the lifestyle to they live forever. In all the seasons he bitches how much money Linda Spends. In the 4th Season Long before this accident with Nick there was talks of Divorce, All brought on by Linda. I think the stress of the accident and the arrest of Nick is what set this off. I dont think this is a move to avoid a lawsuit. The kid in the car was 22 years old so If his parents have a right to sue it is probally only for Medical Bills and lost wages. It was my understanding that if the kid had a s

Nice couple. They said they met on a celebrity and millionaire dating site named "SearchingMillionaire.com". Is it true?

PetersPumpkin01 12:50:44 PM Nov 28 2007

I still don't understand how it could be a move to protect them from a civil suit. They are both his parents. They are both liable. It seems to me that they could still take it regardless of which parent has it.

FABGAD 09:05:01 AM Nov 28 2007

I AGREE WITH THE IDEA THAT THIS IS A MONEY MOVE TO SAVE THE FAMILY INCOME BECAUSE THERE IS GONNA BE A HUGE LAWSUIT FROM THEIR DARLING SON WHO DESTROYED ANOTHERS LIFE. ALL COMES DOWN TO MONEY...!!!!!!!!!!!
I KNOW SOMEONE WHO DID THIS AND THEY COULD NOT GET HARDLY ANYTHING AFTER THE MONEY WAS HIDE AND DIVIDED IN A DIVORCE.... I WONDER HOW THE FAMILY OF THE COMATOSE DYING SON FEELS ABOUT THIS??? SAD SAD ...THE HULK FAMILY KNEW ATHEIR SON WAS DRIVING DANGEROUS .. SO THEY ARE JUST AS RESPONSIBLE.....PAY UP CAUSE YOU CAN'T GIVE BACK THEIR SONS LIFE.....

bikergums.....

You and I are on the SAME wavelength! This is STRICTLY a financial move to AVOID paying ANY lawsuit that will LIKELY be brought soon against Nick. If they are tied up in divorce court, no one can TOUCH the money until AFTER a judge decides who gets what. So, the Hogans(or more likely, the LAWYER repping them) made a VERY smart, strategic move. HAHA....the joke is on YOU guys!
