I think she is just beautiful. my 12yr old daughter is a daddy's girl too. she loves to sing
and write songs. theres nothing wrong with a good personal photos for
personal family albums. These just happen to get into the wrong hands.

Maybe, Miley and her dad didn't really realize how it would look. They are father and daughter. They probably don't think of each other in that manner. Maybe it was not as obvious to them as it was to the people who have seen the add. In addition, we do have to take thier celebrity status into consideration. Pretty much every move they make will be under great suspect and scrutiny. If the media so much as smell a rat they will do everything they can to "expose" the situation with maximum coverage for all it's worth. I'm not really a fan of either Billy Ray or Miley. The story has just caught my attention because I think the mass meda battering of a young girl at the height of her career and super star status could be devastating to her future, mental stability, and overall general well being. I have to say I really believe in Cognitive Labeling Theory. If you tell her she will be like britney for long enough sooneror later she will be like britney not to mention the media as well as pe

I found it interesting that your story led off with the words 'Renowned photographer Annie Liebowitz.....' As a photographer myself,I have followed her career for years---More accurately the headline SHOULD have read...
" Renowned DYKE Annie Liebowitz------" It does not surprise me that she would be so anxious to photograph a young girl in such a sensuous layout,especially with her famous father.It brings to mind the work of Mapplethorpe,well known for his photographs of men having **** ***,and of the shot of the crucifix in a jar of urine......

Howare Sterm is a ----ing perv who is jealous that he isn't the one in the photos and getting the attention! Billy Ray didn't have a string of #1 hits but he did have several really good songs. What has Howare Sterm had?

As for Marie Osmond, she claims that her parents were on the sets all of the time when she was working. She has also claimed that she was molested while she was working and that is why she has such depression and other problems today. Well she can't have it both ways. As a mother of teenage and adult children with whom I show much affection, I found this show of affection to be age inappropriate. Is this going to teach her that it's okay for a young man to touch her thighs and for her touch his? Do they not know where that can lead? She's a fully developed young woman now and her daddy needs to respect that.

I think perhaps the photo may have gone just a tad too far, the hands being placed provocativly on her inner thigh does push the elvelope a little.
But that being said I think you old fish wives need to find something relevant to harp about. It pushed the envelope "a little" this is hardly the riskiest teen photo I have seen and if you choose to spend your time whining about this, then perhaps your husband needs to cheat on you with some hot young intern. Then you could satisfy your aweful need for drama with a real life scandel of your own.

I think Annie Leibovitz does not know how th shoot phots of young girls, she shcold go back to shooting nudes of the ****** of Hollywood.It is for sure she does not know how to photo young girls.The topless shot was in poor taste as was the shots with Mileys father.
