(July 22) - "Star Wars: Episode II" is getting a remake of sorts, courtesy of Seth Green.
The Cartoon Network announced today that Green's Adult Swim cartoon "Robot Chicken" -- which last week earned an Outstanding Animated Program Emmy nomination for its "Robot Chicken: Star Wars" special -- is venturing to a galaxy far, far away for a second "Star Wars"-themed parody this November.

Like its predecessor, the aptly entitled "Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II" will take the beloved characters of George Lucas' sci-fi opus and plant them firmly in the zany, satirical, stop-motion animated universe of "Chicken."
Co-creators and producers Green and Matthew Senreich (Stoopid Monkey Productions) have even secured the participation of original "Star Wars" stars Carrie Fisher, who is onboard to reprise her role as Princess Leia, and Billy Dee Williams, who will will revisit the part of swaggering space cad Lando Calrissian.
Returning from the first special are Ahmed Best as Jar Jar Binks, "Family Guy" mastermind Seth MacFarlane as Emperor Palpatine, "Road Trip" star Breckin Meyer as Admiral Ackbar and Boba Fett, "Late Night" host Conan O'Brien as Zuckuss and "Scrubs" star Donald Faison.
Green, who won this year's Annie Award for directing the original special, will also direct "Episode II" and provide the voices of numerous characters, including Ponda Baba.
"We're thrilled to get to make 'Episode II'; it doesn't even seem real -- getting to make 'Star Wars' twice! We're so excited and bursting with joy," Green said in a press release.
Added Senreich: "It's a geek-fest for us all."
"Robot Chicken: Star Wars" hits DVD shelves today. "Episode II" debuts on the Cartoon Network on Nov. 16 at 11:30 p.m.

I cant't believe the percentage of those who oppose on both results! Seth Green is a genius! I love Chicken Robot. My fav show from adult swim, although I think it should be longer but understand with the costs of animation. I was very excited to hear about another Star Wars parody! Awesome! :-)
