'Anatomy' Spin-Off Gets Official Pick-Up

(May 14)-- Despite some harsh criticism from long-time "Grey's Anatomy" fans, a spin-off starring Kate Walsh is officially good to go for the fall season.

The show, tentatively titled "Private Practice," according to the New York Post, could change names, but will definitely happen. ABC tested the show's chances with a two-hour episode of "Grey's" that set the premise for "Practice."

Fans and critics ganged up on the new show, which had a less 'ER," more "Ally McBeal" vibe to it. Taye Diggs will co-star beside Walsh.
