'Heroes' Season Two Spoilers

intro

More About 'Heroes'

When Last We Saw the 'Heroes' …

Matt had been shot, while Peter and Nathan had flown into space to avoid blowing up New York City. In the season two premiere, we find out what happened to the guys and catch up with HRG and Claire, who've relocated to California.

Hiro's Not Back to the Future

He's still in feudal Japan, where we left him at the end of last season. Star Masi Oka says Hiro will be in the past for at least eight episodes, where he'll come between his hero, Kensei, and the Japanese princess Kensei's in love with.

Is He the Boogeyman?

Juicy rumor: That Kensei (David Anders), after losing the princess' love to Hiro, will travel to the present as Kane, a character more evil than Sylar. Kane may even be the mysterious "Boogeyman" character Molly warned about last season.

What's In a Name?

Titles of the first four episodes provide clues: 'Four Months Later ...,' 'Lizards,' 'Kindred' and 'The Kindness of Strangers.' The eps feature the work of new 'Heroes' writer J.J. Philbin, a former scribe on 'The O.C.' and Regis Philbin's daughter.

Premiere = Doomsday

Though Peter is presumed dead in 'Four Months Later ...,' one character actually will die. We also find out that a new villain is stalking and murdering the older heroes, and yes, that's a hint about who bites the dust in the premiere.

Heroes Are From 'Mars'

'Veronica Mars' star Kristen Bell will join the show around episode five, playing Elle, a woman connected to Peter's supposed death (he's really being held in a cage). Elle will also have ties to HRG's past, as well as Claire's future.

Double Trouble

The premiere also introduces twins Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz), who are on the lam from the police and trying to get into the U.S. through Mexico so they can find someone to help them deal with their special powers.

Heroes in the Big Easy

Micah moves in with family in New Orleans, while mom Niki is off "fixing" something. His relatives: Katrina survivors Monica (Dana Davis) and her grandmother ('Star Trek's' Nichelle Nichols). Monica has a special power that makes her an "avenging angel."

Heroes in Love

Though she and her family try to live as inconspicuously as they can in southern California, Claire gets a boyfriend, West (Nick D'Agosto), who also has a power: he can fly. On a special date, he flies Claire to the Hollywood sign.

Heroes Watching Heroes

Another new season two character: Sophie (Jessica Collins), a mysterious, French-speaking woman who works for an organization that's tracking the heroes. And, not surprisingly, Sophie has a power of her own.

Globe-Trotting With Mohinder

Suresh spends early episodes traveling around the world, meeting the new characters. Says star Sendhil Ramamurthy, "My character is undercover. He's grown a big old set of ba--s. He's generally kind of done a 180 from the first season."

A Heroes Merger

Niki/Jessica will be just one character this season. Says Ali Larter: "There's definitely been an integration ... it's all Niki now. Just Niki. That's all you get. I think that it's about ... really kind of tightening up the storyline."

Very Special Guest Stars

'Deadwood's' Stephen Tobolowski and 'The West Wing's' Richard Schiff are season two guest stars, and rumor has it that 'The Office' creator Ricky Gervais, a self-proclaimed 'Heroes' superfan, has been invited to drop in this season.

The Missing Links

The eighth installment of the season will be a flashback episode about what happened to the heroes during the four months between last season's finale, 'How to Stop an Exploding Man,' and this season's premiere.

Hiro and Ando, Together Again

Lovable sidekick Ando will be back at work at Yamagato Industries, but he's traded in the Members Only jacket for some hipper duds. Star James Kyson Lee says he thinks Ando and Hiro also begin a new adventure in the season's eighth episode.
