The show comes from producers Shonda Rhimes ("Introducing Dorothy Dandridge"), Mark Gordon ("Saving Private Ryan"), James Parriott ("Threat Matrix") and Betsy Beers ("200 Cigarettes"). ABC briefly changed the title to "Complications" before returning to the original name. ABC moved the drama to Thursdays at 9 p.m for the Fall 2006-07 season.
