You Said It
Mel says:

"Looking forward to 'Journeyman' (the time travel show right?) and 'Bionic Woman.'"
BDUB says:

Cody says:
"I thought the premiere of 'Cane' showed a lot of potential. If it makes it through the whole season then it will definitely be up for about 20 Emmys next year."
hub says:
"As much as I liked the first episode of 'Chuck' ..., I have a feeling [it] won't last a full season. Not enough mass appeal."

The Ex Best Thing

A Slice of Heaven
ABC's quirky 'Pushing Daisies' might bust your budget and your waistline: The show's candy-colored design is a dream on HDTV, while the tasty pastries rolled out at lead character Ned's shop, The Pie Hole, will have you hankerin' for a slice.
Pee-wee's New Playhouse
Another reason to love 'Pushing Daisies': Paul "Pee-wee Herman" Reubens will play a recurring role as Alfredo Aldarisio, a traveling sales rep for a homeopathic antidepressant company.

For whom the Bell Toils
'Veronica Mars' is MIA this fall, but thankfully Kristen Bell is not. She's the titular voiceover character who stirs the pot on the CW's 'Gossip Girl'; and she joins 'Heroes' as Elle, a woman with ties to H.R.G.'s past and Claire's future.
Ready, Set, Spike!
'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star James "Spike" Marsters has signed on for a recurring role on 'Without a Trace,' playing an investigator who will head up a task force on human trafficking.
Turning Japanese?
'Alias' hottie David Anders joins the 'Heroes' cast as Takezo Kensei. How will a white American pull off the role of an ancient Japanese warrior? Series creator Tim Kring says that will be explained on the Sept. 24 season premiere.
Jam, At Last

Dr. No
'House' stages a game show-like competition to fill his open staff positions. Among the contenders: Peter Jacobson ('Transformers'), Olivia Wilde ('The O.C.') and Kal Penn ('24'). Word is producers don't know who'll become series regulars.
Dr. McDo-Over

Porn Again
Premiering Oct. 23, 'Nip/Tuck' moves to Los Angeles. Sean's ex, Julia, has a randy lesbian affair with guest star Portia de Rossi, while Christian's ex, Kimber, runs into her former adult video mogul boss, played by ex-'Smallville' pop John Schneider.
Earl's Prison Break
Don't feel too bad for Earl Hickey. Not only will he continue his karmic good deeds while in jail during the third season of 'My Name Is Earl,' but, thanks to his jail pal Frank (guest star Michael Rapaport), Earl will find a new lady love.
Long Lost Lana?
In last season's final cliffhanger, 'Smallville's' Lana (Kristin Kreuk) appeared to blow up in a car accident. Word is Kreuk definitely returns to the show this season, but perhaps not for very long ...
Tabloid TV
Two of our favorite guilty pleasure Websites are on the tube this fall. A daily dose of TMZ.com's gossip reports on TV begins Sept. 10, while self-proclaimed "queen of all media" Perez Hilton debuts his VH1 series 'What Perez Sez' on Sept. 11.
Like Festivus in October
'30 Rock' is the best New York-set series since 'Seinfeld,' which makes it appropriate that the show has Jerry Seinfeld as a guest star for its Oct. 4 second season premiere.
Drew Carey, Come On Down
You're the next host on the classic CBS daytime game show 'The Price Is Right.' Carey makes his 'TPIR' debut on the show's 36th season premiere, Oct. 15.
A Hit and a Missus
'Two and a Half Men's' Marin Hinkle (the ex-wife of Jon Cryer's Alan) is becoming the TV’s go-to ex-wife. This season she'll pop up on 'Brothers & Sisters' as Sen. McCallister's (Rob Lowe) trouble-making former Mrs.
Designs by Dawson?

'CSI: Crossover'
With two spin-offs and the original show entering its eighth season, 'CSI' writers try to keep things fresh with cross-over episodes with fellow CBS series 'Without a Trace' and ... 'Two and a Half Men'?! Yep, 'Men's' Alan finds a stain and employs 'CSI' tactics to find out who made it.
It's Good to Be a Geek
Looking for geek love this fall? Check out NBC's 'Chuck' (Sept. 24, 8PM) about a tech support guy who becomes a secret agent. The next night on CW (Sept. 25, 9PM), 'Reaper' follows a stock boy who becomes Satan's bounty hunter.
Flying Doh'nts
Fresh off their big-screen success, 'The Simpsons' begin their 19th season on Fox on Sept. 23 with an episode in which Homer saves Mr. Burns' life and is rewarded with the chance to fly Monty's private jet, which, of course, can't end well.
Old School 'Vegas'
It'll take one cool customer to fill the shoes of departing figurehead James Caan. 'Magnum P.I.' Emmy winner Tom Selleck packs up his moustache and brings it to the Strip as new Montecito owner Jim Cooper for the show's fifth season.
'Prison' Break Over
Season two was all about Michael, Lincoln and their Fox River cohorts being on the lam, but season three will find Michael back in jail -- the horrific SONA -- with the scenario switched and Linc now in charge of setting him free.
'Friday Night' on Friday Nights
Will ratings-challenged cult fave drama 'Friday Night Lights' thrive in its new Friday night timeslot? We hope so. Rumor has it Coach Taylor abandons that TMU college coaching gig and heads back to Dillon High before midseason hits.
'Cavemen' Origins
ou either love or hate those Geico cavemen commercials, and ABC's 'Cavemen' sitcom, premiering Oct. 2 at 8PM, seems to evoke similarly strong reactions. Producers plan to explore the retro fellas' backstory, including their hatred of "shavers."
Paging Dr. McRebound
Tim Daly's Dr. Pete Finch is definitely pegged as the new McDreamy guy Addison is going to get McSteamy with on the 'Grey's Anatomy' spin-off 'Private Practice.' Other 'Private' McHotties: Taye Diggs and Chris Lowell ('Veronica Mars').
Rantin' Ramsay
Chef Gordon Ramsay won't temper his cantankerous personality on the American version of 'Kitchen Nightmares' (Sept. 19, Fox), where he helps floundering eateries get back on track. A participant already sued Ramsay (unsuccessfully) over the chef's harsh on-camera commentary.
The Doctor Is In
Goran Visnjic is back for a few episodes as 'ER's' Luka, but Shane West is MIA even though his character, newly disabled Ray, will be a topic throughout the season, including a scene in the 14th season opener (Sept. 27) where Pratt and Morris clean out Ray’s locker.
