History:
Ken Olin, Greg Berlanti, Monica Owusu-Breen and Alison Schapker are the current executive producers. Original executive producer Marti Noxon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") left the series before it premiered, citing conflict with the show's creator, playwright Jon Robin Baitz, who eventually left the show himself during the second season. Additionally, original costar Betty Buckley was replaced by Sally Field prior to the show's premiere. Field won an Emmy as outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her work in the first season.
