The Billionaire Dishes Getting Bounced From 'Stars' and Osmond Says She's OK

October 24 -- Not even the magic of 'I Dream of Jeannie' could save Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, and his partner Kym Johnson from being voted off 'Dancing With The Stars' after they danced the samba to the theme of the classic sitcom. The energetic entrepreneur shared his thoughts on leaving the competition with AOL TV's Michael Maloney.

How do you feel?
This wasn't something I ever envisioned doing. I learned so much. The whole thing was a blast!
Your kids must be proud of you.
Alexis, who's 4, has been rubbing the TV screen (when I'm on). As fun as this has been, you learn real quickly that (family) is the most important thing.
Will you have a job for Kym?
Whatever Kym wants Kym gets!
Has this fueled a desire for more TV appearances?
(Laughs) You'll see me on TV at the Mavericks games.

While Cuban took a figurative fall last night, the big news was Marie Osmond taking a literal one live -- on air -- after she completed her samba with her dancer partner Jonathan Roberts on Monday night.

Fortunately, Osmond had family in the audience rooting for her and were on hand to lend a hand. "My daughter said, 'Mom, you hit your head pretty loudly,'" the singer/entertainer recalled. She gives kudos to Roberts for making the situation less severe. "Jonathan actually caught me," Osmond said, adding with a smile, "And he put my legs together, which was really nice of him because I was wearing the shortest dress ever!"

As to what caused her passing out, Osmond wants to clear the air. She adamantly says, "I'm not pregnant and I'm not on diet pills." In fact, Osmond credited being on NutriSystem (and dancing many hours each day) for her recent weight loss. "I've never been happier or healthier," she shared. "I think the problem was that the air quality [in L.A.] has been so bad (because of the recent wildfires). I carry an inhaler with me, but I didn't have it (Monday) night."

Taking a different kind of drop were actress Jane Seymour and her partner Tony Dovolani, who shocked judges by landing in the bottom two. "I had a sixth sense it was coming," Seymour said afterwards. "I had a feeling."

What's Dolovani's plan to make sure viewers "see more" of Seymour? "We constantly try to entertain the audience," Dolovani maintained. "That's all you can do. I hope everyone gets to see more of what Jane has to offer."

"All I can do is train as hard as I can with Tony," Seymour said. "And all he can do is get the best possible dance out of me." While Seymour was happy to be saved, she did say that she would greatly miss Cuban. "Mark's a lovely guy," the actress offered. "We hate it when someone is voted off because we have all bonded as a family."

Melanie Brown who turned in this week's top scoring dance agreed, "Mark's a really sweet guy and we all fell in love with him." She's also living proof that someone like Seymour can rise up from the bottom two by performing a dance that the judges love, though nothing is ever certain on this show. How much security did the top score give Mel B. and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy going into the results show? "None!" the playful bickering team replied in perfectly timed unison. "But," Brown added, "Getting [the high score] was a good feeling."

Who's Your Favorite?

Julianne Hough and Helio Castroneves weren't in the bottom two, but at first they weren't quite sure whether or not that was the case. "I think it was the phrasing [that we were safe] and the fact that we couldn't hear," said Hough. Added Castroneves: "Thank God, they turned off the light [which indicated that we were then safe]."

Derek Hough was proud of his celebrity student Jennie Garth for taking fifth place with 25 points. "Jennie's the definition of 'Dancing With the Stars,'" insisted the handsome Hough. "She overcomes the nerves. She's going from being a non-dancer to a true dancer. She's getting better and better each week."

And is it just us or with each passing week do Hough and Garth look more and more like siblings? "People have said to me that Jennie and I look like brother and sister," shared a chuckling Hough, "which is funny because my actual sister [Julianne] is on the show!"

Does Hough have show biz aspirations beyond dancing? "Mark (Ballas) and I have a band called Almost Amy," Hough said. "We're both lead guitarists and singers. We're trying to get that off the ground. (Our style) is John Mayer meets Maroon 5. It's got a funky vibe."

In the audience this week were actresses Jennifer Esposito and Melissa McCarthy who had to gush about their new sitcom 'Samantha Who?' "I'm having so much fun," Esposito raved. "The cast is insane, funny and lovely. I couldn't be happier." McCarthy agrees: "This show has renewed my faith that you can get something on the air that's funny. Every time we get a script, we laugh so hard!"

Speaking of great shows, is there any chance that there might be a movie version of McCarthy's last series 'Gilmore Girls?' "I keep hearing that ('Gilmore' creator) Amy (Sherman-Palladino) has been approached to do a movie, but I have no idea," McCarthy responded. "I do think it'd be fun."

Back in the ballroom, the dancers get set for next week when they have to perform a solo dance and a group dance. But as they prep, could they appropriate some of the strategies shown by their competitors in the video package shown on the results program? Possibly. "I'm not sure I should say this," confided one dancer. "But the packages were very 'produced.' It was what they wanted us to say. Reality TV is not always, well, 'real.'"
