Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (10PM, NBC) 9TH SEASON FINALE
Another season of the 'Law & Order' spin-off has come and gone, and in Dick Wolf Land, that usually means one thing: cast changes. And there's no exception here, as Diane Neal is out as Assistant District Attorney Casey Novak and Adam Beach finishes up his first and last season as Detective Chester Lake. For Beach, at least, he's going out on a dramatic note, tackling a cold case involving a teen girl's murder. But when he and the female detective originally investigating the case get into a shooting match, she ends up dead and Lake lands in the hospital -- where he's now under a suspect himself. Another clue that his time in the SVU isn't going to end well: He goes on the lam, with the cold case's only witness as his hostage.
