Boston Legal (10PM, ABC)
The episode's called 'The Gods Must Be Crazy,' but it's really the Republican party that's going a little loco, as party leaders decide Denny Crane may be their best hope in the November election. Denny's pal Paul Cruickshank (guest star George Segal), a member of the Republican National Committee, approaches the eccentric attorney with news that they think John McCain is too boring to be a serious presidential contender. Of all the words you could use to describe Denny, boring is definitely not amongst them, so that, along with his conservative ideals and pro-NRA stance, is enough to have his name bandied about as a potential McCain replacement. Still ... President Denny Crane? Only on 'Boston Legal,' kids, only on 'Boston Legal.'
