After weeks battling against near-perfect scores from all of their competitors -- not to mention being saved last week when Lil' Kim and Derek, who had higher scores, were sent home -- Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower were eliminated from 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Ty, how do you feel about wrapping up your run?
Ty: We felt great about having a whole army of people behind us. I'm not going to lie -- I'm tired of learning dances. I'm so glad I don't have to go and learn two more dances this week. But if America had kept us on, that would have been motivation. The three couples left are such good dancers; it's time for me to get out of their way and let them get on with their competition.

What's next for you?
Ty: I'm a founder and owner of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders, Inc.); I'm as or more proud of that than anything I've done in my career. I came on to the show to bring awareness to our sport and riding. We have great athletes.

Ty: Jewel and me will take a vacation, but I need to get back to the ranch and take care of some stuff.

Chelsie, every couple comes back to the show for the finale for one last dance -- what will yours be?
Chelsie: The Salsa. It may not have been our best dance, but it was our favorite.

Chelsie: Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better celebrity. No diva-ness. Ty is very down to earth. He worked so hard.

Chelsie: I'm not really a ranch girl.
Ty: She's as much of a rancher as I am a dancer!
Chelsie: I'm not high maintenance, but I just can't do the waking up early thing.

Ty, what did you think of your dances in the semi-finals?
Ty: We felt we did pretty good. We came in thinking that I was the fourth best dancer on the show. We wanted to go out and do our best. We did pretty close to that.

Which of your dances do you feel went better?
Ty: I really can't tell the difference about which one was better. I have no idea. I just try to remember everything Chelsie told me to do. [But] it's like trying to teach a blind guy how to paint. I loved that Len gave her a shout-out. She's only 19 years old, it's her first year on the show and they gave her the block of wood. Every week, she'd go in and try to carve something out. She can say something more with her smile than most people can say talking all day.

i can't be;ieve julianne is leaving the show - she was the best dancer. I guess ever since she started singing - that was more important. She was a beautiful girl.
I think it was a huge mistake with Ty staying, back when Julianne and Chuck got kicked off. Chuck was a much better dancer than Ty and Lil kim was even better than Chuck!
This should be kept strictly to the judges as to who goes, not based on fan votes. They are the qualified experts here, not fans.
That really was not right Lil Kim getting voted off, she was MUCH better than Ty.

I just started watching this show between commercials and I caught a glimpse of the action. Everything here is "Hyper Speed" and "Over the top slutty." Is this the message we want to send or is it "Don't try this at home?" The Cowboy was the worse dancer and that final spin showed his true skills. I'm so glad he didn't drop that girl. As for Shawn, her time is almost up. She should have been let go long ago. She sends a mixed message about "Kiddy Porn." It's not her fault that she's so beautiful and still young.
Little Kim's body didn't have the look. Ty was showing a lot of improvement, and that is what the show is about. Chuck just didn't have the "look" for me. no sizzle.
Sorry to see Ty go. Ty is the person dancing with the stars is all about. A celebrity with NO DANCING EXPERIENCE learning ballroom and competing with other contestants just like him. If Melissa wins, it would be just plain wrong. She has had ballet experience and dance routines with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Of course this comes easier to her and she already knew how to move.
When are the producers going to stop putting in these ringers so that the competition is somewhat fair. If it is not the ringers, it is the sob stories. Melissa is both for this year.
Nice to finally see melissa's parents show up where were they when she was madly inlove with jason...Put her on a stage and they are front seat participants.

i am sorry ty was voted off. yes he did come a long ways but he should have been voted of before lilkim she was a good dancer. i was disappointed when lilkim got the boot. I wanted lilkim to win. but now that she is gone i am voting for shawn i can't stand the other two that are left. gilles will probably end up wining. i may not watch this show next year it is gettting as bad as american idol. i quit watching that show and i may quit watching this one also.
