Jonathan, you weren't on last season and this time, you're first to go. How do you feel?
Jonathan: It blows! I took last season off to compete in the World Championship, which I won.
ABC
Did you think that Belinda's strong fan base from the Go-Go's would have kept her on?
Jonathan: I would have thought so. You can just never tell. I go back to Sabrina [Bryan, the Cheetah Girl] being eliminated in Season 5. You just never know.
ABC
Will you and Belinda get together to practice your dance for the finale?
Jonathan: Yes, of course. We've got one more dance to do. She's coming back for a Go-Go's concert in April, so we're all going to go to that.
ABC
What was it like watching your partner Chelsie dance to your wife Jewel's singing?
Ty: I thought it was unbelievable. She and Dmitry couldn't have done any better. Jewel sings that song so amazingly well. It was all really nice. I see it all through different eyes than I would have before now that I know what goes into dancing.
ABC
Jewel, why did you choose 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' to sing on the show?
Jewel: I was selected to play Dorothy in a production of 'The Wizard of Oz' before I was famous. The cast had Roger Daltrey, Jackson Browne and Natalie Cole. When I stepped out on stage to sing that song, I started crying. I wanted to do something to show my range tonight. I think it takes years to get a song down and I've been singing this one for 10 years. (The song's on Jewel's new CD, 'Lullaby,' which comes out May 5.)
ABC
How do you feel about Belinda leaving?
Denise: I'm bummed. You don't want anyone to go. I really like Belinda. She's a great woman. I'm a fan of hers, always have been. It's hard to be the first one to go.
ABC
How did it feel when they announced as making it to next week?
Denise: Oh, my God! I was so excited!
ABC
Maks, what do you think about the dance-off rule?
Maksim: I actually don't know what to think about it yet. It was fun watching Steve [Wozniak and Karina] dance again. I came up to him after they were called safe and said he really deserved to stay here because he really worked for it.
ABC
Mark and Shawn, how did it feel to hear your name called as safe for next week?
Mark: I was really proud of Shawn. She deserves to go through. We're sad to lose Belinda and Jonathan. He's a good friend of mine.
Shawn: I was relieved. You take a deep breath, but it's sad when you know someone else is going home.

She had no hip movement, it was like watching an ironing board dance.
Belinda deserved to get the boot. She should go easy on the botox. All the while I kept watching here, I kept thinking how much she looked like Priscilla Presley.
I agree with Sheila, too. She is an exact look a like (younger) to Priscilla.
Have you seen new Miley Cyrus topless video? It's AWESOME! I've seen it here:

The first night I thought why did they bring Priscilla Presley back?!!
I agree with Sheila. I didn't even recognize Belinda Carlisle. She has gone a little extreme with the cosmetic treatments. She also had no rhythm. Her hips didn't want to loosen up. I was also surprised that Steve Wozniak could move that swift. I'm not saying he's great but he does pretty good. This is an interesting mix. I can't wait to see the upcoming weeks.
uh wasn't anybody watching the computer dude... you gotta be kidding. You're concerned with Botox. .. and the cowboy looked like he was square dancing. goodness people!
This was one of my favorite show of all time UNTIL I was turned off from viewing the last show where they booted GOOD NON DANCERS trying their best to compete and these people had this CHAMPION skater Christy in there who have choreographic training most all her life and naturally won.Trying to dance it very hard, choreographic that dance is the hardest!!!!!
I bet if you ask all those couples that lost
they would say the very same thing!!
IT WAS VERY UNFAIR for her to win.
This year they put in a woman that had 20 minutes of fame on the bachelor, She is not a STAR! Everyone downing a man for being honest like most all the others were not.I admire him for doing what he did. Malissa does not belong in dancing with the STARS!
I disagree. She's as big a star as that Jack__s "star"! Just because she isn't a stage actress. She's a performer and a known name--because, let's face it, everyone knew her. I don't even watch the Batchelor and I knew about her. If enough people voted to keep her on, then she's entertaining them. Remember Trista was the first to go on the first DWTS. So reality "stars" have evolved. I like how it is a cross section of people. It is both skill and popularity contest. I love to see the bad get better every week. And I loved Cloris Leachman--82 yrs old and doing that every week?!! It was great. I didn't feel bad that Toni Braxton had to go--not entertaining enough!
I totally agree. I'm enjoying the apple guy, the cowboy, and the football player. They are unexperienced and makes it fun to watch them learn new things and get better each week. That was the concept of the show to begin with. So to tell people they suck on the 1st week is ridiculous. If they don't improve by the 4th week, that's when the judges can say they "can't dance" Let's hope DWTS doesn't jump the shark.
