On the subject of the President not playing sports with women. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? First of all, the fact this is an issue with everything in this country going on how is this even an issue? Now that it is an issue, if he did invite a woman to play basketball or golf, then somebody would start accusing him of inappropriate behavior with a woman the first time he looked at a woman wrong or accidentally touched someplace he should not touch on a woman while playing basketball. Could we just let this man be PRESIDENT and do his job and leave all the petty BS out of the equation?! Good Grief People!!

On todays, (October 12,2009),show.The co-host was ,ignaramous ,Rachel Campos-Duffy.She should crawl back underneath the rock she crawled out of. Too much of what came out of her mouth indicated that she is totally uninformed about most topics. She stated that she wants to have her children,Including her asthmatic child,the H1N1 flu vacine. If she researched the subject, she would be aware that it could be fatal for asthmatics and COPD sufferers. It is scary that she is a mother! I pray for her children.

I don't think we as black woman perm our hair or spend billions on our hair to be manageable. We grow up thinking that long and straight is beautiful and kinky is ugly. My niece 3 years ago started going to an all white camp,(Jewish) went there because I worked there during the summer months. She never had a real issue with hair and my sister always had her hair in braids. Well the first summer she was there she noitced her hair was not like the other girls, and one of the girls in her bunk had head lice. Well they all had to go to the clinic to get treated which meant that hair would be washed. Well (lol) she thought a 6 her hair would be straight like theirs. Her hair braids were taken out you can only imagine, she has very thick hair. She wanted to wear her hair out and after much convincing I explained her hair was not like the other girls and she could not wear it out. Again we are taught straight hair is beautiful, maybe we should be taught that kinky is beautiful.

Whoopie please! You really should stop acting like you are the only one to be heard. You don't know everything. I know Barbara sometimes takes a story the long way, but your facial expressions are annoying. You seem to have a problem with everyone at the table. Like you are the queen and cannot be interrupted. whoopi,i have always respected your opinion in the past because i felt you were being fair to both sides of the argement.that being said,there is no defense for what polanski did to that 13 yr old.if it was your daughter,would you call it rape?it scares me to death to hear how celebs can find a way to whitewash any crime.this man is sick and it's like you guys want to give him a pass because he's "brilliant".where is your outrage over this disgusting,sick man?????

Whoopi - "It wasn't 'rape rape'" is probably the dumbest thing you've ever said. He was allowed to plead down, because the girl's parents wanted to spare her a trial. He admitted to the act. An adult in power who intimidates a young girl, after she has had alcohol, then gives her a quelude and has sex when the girl does not want to is, indeed, a rapist. This was not consensual.
