Tony Shalhoub

The Monk show has outstanding writers and actors and Tony Shalhoub performed his character to perfection. There are so few shows on television that are worth watching - but Monk was always our top pick, now....what to watch? I think the last show left a good possibility, hopefully, of perhaps a return and an additional side of "Monk" to be seen. Note: Mr. Shalhoub should have won more 'best actor awards". I love Monk and will miss the hilariously funny clips that frequently subtly slide from belly-jiggling laughter into warm feelings of compassion and through depths of tenderness in just a matter of a few minutes. The final show was a masterpiece. Well done actors, writers and all those who contributed to the greatness of the show. I hated it when the ending of the show was announced. After some thoughtgul reflection, I believe that this is the right time for a closure. It has the staff to retool the stories and carry forward to a new set of adventures in a few years if s "rebirth" should seem like a comeback would be welcomed. Thank you for wonderful entertainment each Friday evening. I am grateful for a series that could be enjoyed alongside our children without a moments concern about inappropriate material being presented. My best wishes to a great crew for the super entertainment we have enjoyed in our home while viewinf "Monk."

Monk you are loved by everyone, We will all miss you so very much. I wish you were going on to next year instead of ending next week. You are a true actor and should have won best actor of the year. You are best in our eyes. Best wishes for you and your fellow actors for the coming year. gabby
