Television emcee Josh Temple rose from obscurity to celebrity in 2008 when executive producers Thom Beers, Gail Berman, and Lloyd Braun tapped him to host the competitive NBC reality series America's Toughest Jobs. As its title suggests, the series witnessed instances in which neophytes to specific dangerous careers, such as trucking, bullfighting, and bridge building, found themselves thrust into the jobs alongside seasoned professionals and often wound up fighting for their own lives and safety. - Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
