Candis Cayne

Actress Candis Cayne is a familiar face to fans of the show Dirty Sexy Money, but the vivacious performer began attracting attention long before she was cast in a popular TV series. Born as a male, Cayne felt her true identity was female from the beginning, and once she was through with high school, she moved to New York and became a fixture in the 1990s drag scene, participating in the yearly festival Wigstock, and befriending popular drag icon RuPaul. Eventually, Cayne underwent complete gender reassignment surgery and treatment.
