Zuleikha Robinson

British born actress Zueleikha Robinson spent her childhood in Thailand and Malaysia before moving to Los Angeles in her late adolescence to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her name means "beautiful one" in Persian, and living up to her name, Robinson's lovely face only added to her talent and charisma and she soon found work in the unconventional film Timecode, which was shot in a continuous take on four different cameras, in real time. A short time later she was cast in the cult-hit X-Files spin-off The Lone Gumman before appearing in the adventure drama Hidalgo. Then in 2005, she was cast as Gaia on the series Rome. In 2007, she signed on to appear in the film Vivaldi, a biopic about the baroque composer's life starring Joseph Fiennes in the title role. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide
