Nely Galan

Nicknamed "The Tropical Tycoon" by The New York Times, media mogul Nely Galan has, indeed, caused a storm within Latino and American entertainment industries. Considered a "guru" in the health, beauty, and wellness community -- she was the executive producer and life coach to contestants on The Swan, a successful American makeover show -- Galan also helped run Goliath Latino television network Telemundo. In addition to her success in television, Galan authored the popular "chick-lit" novela The Dirty Girls Social Club.
