RAILS & TIES Tom Stark, a train conductor whose wife Megan Stark (Marcia Gay Harden) has a potentially terminal illness and seeks escape in his work. However, when Tom's train hits a car that was parked on the tracks by a suicidal mother, Tom is blamed by her son, Davey Danner for the cause of her death. It's this aftermath that bonds Tom, Megan and Davey.
