Asia'h Epperson

Missouri native Asia'h Epperson was only 19 when she decided to take the plunge and audition for season seven of American Idol when the show came through Atlanta. It was an intimidating idea, and the decision seemed doubly courageous when she revealed to the judges that her father had just died a few days earlier. She choked back tears as she offered a beautiful rendition of "How Do I Live Without You," and was given the pass to go on through to Hollywood.
