chris has been dodging bullets for the past 5 weeks. outside the fact that he's somewhat good looking i guess, he has little vocal range and brings zero to the table.matt and anoop were better. danny and allison crushed him and adam is untouchable and should be a lock if there is such one for the american idol of 2009
OK, let me try this again because my comment ended up at the bottom. DO NOT CLICK ON Maffion's link! Its a trojan virus! I'm a computer tech and this is a warning. AOL, please take Maffion's reply down now! You should be moderating this much better!
Overall the season 8 was lousy. The music was boring, the judging inane, and the contestants substandard. Some blame goes to the producers and the jusges, but fans must take a major share of the blame, with some of the best talent axed early.
Next year I suggest
-having a focus group of actual fans, like those in political debates, judge the singers.
-using internet based voting like DTWS.
-prohibit rule changes after the final 12 is selected.
-minimize the puff pieces and sob stories used as filler.
I have to disagree with you as far as this season being lousy, I think it was the best one ever! I have seen so much talent this year but the one that tops all of them is Adam. That guy is incredibly talented. I have never in my life seen one with so much talent! I hope he wins the title of the 2009 Idol! He deserves it! I do agree with you though about leaving out the sob stories, this should pertain to anything that is competitive. I heard that when Danny went back to his hometown this week that he spent alot of time singing in his church and then brought up his recently deceased wife. I feel bad for him as far as her dying but I don't really think that he's as upset about it as he pretends to be. He seemed to be having alot of fun when they were wrecking that kitchen, messing around with Allison and all.
Yes, Andi, Adam is great, if you like his high-pitched, falsetto vocals. Danny and Kris are both tied for mediocre. My favorites, Anoop and Lil were voted off early and could have been better compitition for Adam. But it's votes that count, as they say on Weakest Link.

Last weeks show (5/5/09) Paula had on some really beautiful earrings. It was a shooting star design. Please ask paula if these are from her collection. I've searched her sites and they do not show up. My daughter's name is Nova and it would would mean so much to her and us to have these unique earrings. I hope to hear from you soon - her birthday is June 17th.
You can find Paula's earrings on HSN.com - go to "forever your girl" collection. While there click on to new arrivals for other jewerly, accessories, etc. Great quality. Hope this helps.

Wannabe singers from all over the USA are hoping to become the next big thing. But before someone gets to become the next American Idol all of the contestants will have to face the terrible jury's decision. Some of them will go through the next rounds, some of them most certainly won't!
And it's all in the hands of jury members Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and feared-by-all Simon Cowell.
saw a man on britains got talent that I like better than lambert. Better style, better smile, and I like his voice better too. But "feared-by-all" Simon? I think he's right most the time. He's also much more charming while filming across the pond. I thinks he thinks Americans are spoiled and selfish, which, as a culture, we are.
