Separated at Birth? 'Idol' Lookalikes

Idol' Celebrity Lookalikes

Danny Gokey & Robert Downey, Jr.

Double-Take: With his spikey hair and ever-changing glasses, Danny Gokey could easily play Robert Downey Jr. in a big screen movie. In fact, their looks are so similar that when Gokey steps on stage, we sometimes wonder if it's really the 'Tropic Thunder' star disguised as another dude again -- an 'Idol' twist we'd actually love to see.

    Adam Lambert & Pete Wentz

Double-Take: With matching black hair, painted nails, thick eyeliner and an interchangeable wardrobe, these two could easily pass for brothers. And if Adam ever decides to get all tatted up, we won't be able to tell them apart.

    Adam Lambert & Liza Minnelli

Double-Take: Although Adam is going for more of a rocker look on 'Idol,' we're often drawn back to Liza Minnelli's signature black locks. But more power to him: If he can make it work there, he can make it work anywhere.

    Michael Johns & Dane Cook

Double-Take: We hate to say it, but Aussie hottie Michael Johns, with his disheveled hair and steely glare, bears an uncanny resemblance to frat-boy fave Dane Cook. Let's just hope Johns is smart enough to avoid the likes of 'Good Luck Chuck.'

    Danny Noriega & Christian Siriano

Double-Take: 'Idol' wannabe Danny Noriega and 'Project Runway' design star Christian have more than their reality-wunderkind status in common. These mini-divas both have well-maintained manes, heaps of sassy attitude and don't take any flack from the judges. Fierce!

    Sanjaya Malakar & Anthony Kiedis

Double-Take: Sanjaya's hair? Oh, please -- the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman's been flaunting those same "hair don'ts" for years. Guess we should be thankful Sanjaya didn't try to recreate Kiedis' tube-sock look.

    Garrett Haley & Peter Frampton

Double-Take: Frampton came alive on the 'Idol' stage in the form of retro-looking crooner Garrett Haley. The shaggy-haired teen, who also earned comparisons to '70s hit-maker Leif Garrett, got axed from 'Idol' early in the Top 24 -- but he may have a bright future in a Frampton cover band.

    Fox/Wireimage.com

    Jason Castro & John Travolta

Double-Take: Shy rising star Castro isn't an alien (though he does have an out-of-this-world voice), but his dreadlocks do bear a striking similarity to the ones that Travolta sported for the sci-fi dud ''Battlefield Earth.'

    Fox/Warner Bros.

    Chikezie & Mekhi Phifer

Double-Take: Sure, Simon butchers his name and picks on his clothes; but Chikezie's not only adorable, he's also the spitting image of 'ER' star Mekhi Phifer (we can only imagine how Simon would pronounce that), who shares the singer's affinity for colorful suits.

    Fox/Getty Images

Amanda Overmyer & Yvonne De Carlo

Double Take: Throw a leather jacket on the classic 'Munsters' star and toss her on a Harley, and she'd be a dead ringer for 'Idol' rocker/nurse Amanda (though with arguably better hair).
