Adam Lambert, Drake LaBry Split

Adam Lambert may have 'Time for Miracles.' But his love life? Well, that's a different story.

According to a source for US Mag, the season 8 runner-up has split from his boyfriend, Drake LaBry, over preparations for his upcoming CD, 'For Your Entertainment.'

On the bright side, the source says the split was completely mutual. ""They will still talk and see each other," they said.

'Idol' Moves Hollywood Week Taping to January

Simon Cowell'American Idol' is in for another shake-up.

The NY Post is reporting that season 9's Hollywood Week has been moved to January. The reason: scheduling issues.

According to show sources, 'Idol' is switching things around to accommodate Simon Cowell's busy schedule as 'The X Factor' wraps in London.

On the bright side, this may allow new judge Ellen DeGeneres to begin taping during this time, although her official start date has yet to be announced.

New Daughtry Music Video: 'Life After You'

DaughtryCalling all Daughtry fans: The band has just released the second single off their sophomore CD, 'Leave This Town,' and PopEater has the exclusive music video.

In a new interview, frontman Chris Daughtry says the 'Life After You' video is about "capturing our life on the road. We deal with having to connect at home and manage that while we're doing our job on the road -- at the same time. The video shows what we do on any given day... moving from place to place and having to get in touch with my wife. That's what my character does in the video anyway."

Adam Lambert Books American Music Awards

Adam LambertFans anticipating Adam Lambert's return won't have to wait much longer: According to MTV, Lambert will perform his debut single at this year's American Music Awards, airing Nov. 22 on ABC.

Lambert made the big reveal this morning on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show, adding that the "glammy" single could be released "any day now."

The song is not to be confused with 'Time for Miracles,' the track he recorded for the movie '2012' (listen to Moviefone's exclusive sneak peek here). In fact, Lambert said the song will be "something entirely different," according to the report.

Scheduled for April 21, 2010, this will be the third edition of Idol Gives Back but the first since the nation was sent into deep financial depression, leading some to wonder whether now is truly the time to be asking viewers to pony up money for charities, however worthy. In the official press release from Fox, Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, acknowledged the difficulties facing Idol Gives Back.

Adam Lambert's CD Hits Number Two on Amazon.com

Adam LambertAdam Lambert is already on his way to becoming the next Chris Daughtry.

Although he lost the season 8 crown to Kris Allen, Adam's untitled CD (in stores Nov. 24) has already skyrocketed to number two on the Amazon.com sales charts. The kicker: RCA never even announced it could be pre-ordered, according to the NY Daily News.

Meanwhile, Kris' debut CD, which hits stores on week earlier on Nov. 17, ranked 61st.
